Food trip: Zark’s Burgers

Yesterday, we went for a little stroll and photo walk in Manila. It was late afternoon when we got to Rizal Park, my third time I think visiting it. It surprised me that the traffic and all the stressful things in this city were lessen and it’s now hassle-tree. I guess it’s because we are still on vacation mode so there are lesser crowd.

Right after our stroll, we headed to Zark’s Burgers right in front of De La Salle University Taft. We waited for our turn in less than 5 minutes and went inside the resto.

I didn’t expect the place to be so simple but it is. It is like a unit with a counter, and tables and chairs. That’s it! Knowing that these food chain is so popular even to elite students like LaSallistas, I am very impressed.

Here’s our order:

Jaw Breaker, triple beef patty topped with cheese, onions, tomatoes, bacon, lettuce and spam. Served with potato fries and a bottom-less glass of iced tea. Price, 250php.

Zark’s Ultimate Burger, beef patty with cheese, onions, tomatoes, mushrooms. Price, 130php. If served with fries and iced tea, you’ll add 30php.

Cheese fries, fried potato fries and bacon seasoned with cheese sauce. Price, 70php.

My review, I can say no more. With a very affordable price, you have a taste of a superb and delicious burger in town. Definitely one of the best burgers in town. We weren’t able to finish our plate because the meal is quite heavy for our appetite but it’s really worth it.
